Do you practice what YOU preach?

We’ve all been there.  Missed workouts to take on new clients. Skipped meals because we don’t schedule a lunch break. Coffee and energy bars to keep going all day long.  As trainers, fitness instructors and fitness professionals we preach to our clients about the good-life of healthy eating and an active lifestyle, but are we taking the time and prioritizing this mantra for ourselves?  Well we’d better shape up, because if we can’t how can we expect our clients to.

After a long and cold winter a detoxifying Yoga practice can help put that spring in our step and YogaFit® Sweat, or a heated Yoga practice may be just the answer! 

One of the primary ways we benefit from a heated yoga class is through sweat, our skin’s way of cooling us down or ‘cleaning house.’ By turning up the heat both inside and out, we assist our bodies in this natural detoxification process. We also increase our circulation: to our heart, through our digestive system, our lymphatic system and even to our brains. The result, we feel revitalized, refreshed, and more alert!
