What does the term delegate mean?
A delegate is someone who is attending the conference.
How much does the conference cost?
Conference rates are priced based on member and non-member rates. As a benefit to being a Can-Fit-Pro member, the member rate is a lower cost. Each conference includes registration fees applicable to the size of the event. Please refer to the registration details of the particular event youre interested in attending, to view the rates.
How much are the pre-conference workshops?
Pre-Conference workshops are priced based on membership status (member/non-member) and conference attendance (delegate/non-delegate). Prices are listed with the descriptions of each pre-conference workshop available at each event in the brochure and online.
How do I register for the conference?
Registration can be done in any one of the following ways:
· On-line Registration the easiest and quickest way to register!
· Fax 416-493-1756 Fax your registration form with credit card information, session requests, and signed waiver of liability and consent to Can-Fit-Pro.
· Mail a registration form along with payment (no CODs) to Can-Fit-Pro

· By phone* 416-493-3515 or toll free 1-800-667-5622 - pay for your registration by phone then send in your session requests within 7 business days by fax.
* Registering by phone will guarantee you the current rate, and reserves you a space in the conference, not in sessions.
I dont have a fax machine, how can I submit my session requests?
Fax machines are available at printing stores, or you can download the registration form from the website and scan it and email it to Can-Fit-Pro at conferences@canfitpro.com, or you can download the registration form and mail it to Can-Fit-Pro.
When will I receive a confirmation of the sessions Im registered for?
Can-Fit-Pro will email you a copy of the sessions you are registered for within 5 business days of receiving your registration. If you do not receive a confirmation, you are not registered for the conference and must contact Can-Fit-Pro immediately.
How and when do I get a receipt?
If you registered on-line, confirmation of the sessions you have requested will be emailed to you along with proof of payment. When Can-Fit-Pro has processed your registration, you will receive a confirmation email and official receipt.
Do I have to be certified to attend a conference?
No, we welcome all fitness enthusiasts to the conference. The diverse curriculum available at each conference tailors to the needs of fitness professionals and fitness enthusiasts.
Do I have to be a Can-Fit-Pro member to attend a conference?
We welcome all participants. Can-Fit-Pro members enjoy the low member rate. If you are not a member, Can-Fit-Pro offers a special non-member rate which includes a one-year Can-Fit-Pro Professional membership.
Will I receive continuing education credits (CECs) for attending the conference?
Yes, you will receive CECs for attending the conference. All Can-Fit-Pro CECs are listed in the session descriptions included in the brochure and online. CECs for other organizations will be listed on-line approximately 1 month before the conference date. For CECs from organizations not listed, please contact your certification agency to inquire about petitioning for credit recognition.
How do I find out more about volunteering?
We welcome all returning and new volunteers to the team! Become a volunteer by filling out the volunteer application found on the conference page. Email or fax in your application and enjoy the benefits of volunteering at a Can-Fit-Pro conference.
What do I do if I didnt get into my first choice of session requests?
Sessions are assigned on a first come first served basis, based on the date your complete registration is received (payment and session requests). We will do our best to assign you to one of your top requests. Please ensure you fill out session requests for each time slot providing more than one request in order for Can-Fit-Pro to meet your needs. If all of the sessions in the time slot are full, you will be placed on stand-by.
What does stand-by mean?
If all session requests are full a Stand-By status will be assigned, which allows a delegate to attend any session during that time slot on a space-available basis. The delegate will be admitted to the session after the pre-registered delegates have entered. While we almost always have extra space for stand-by delegates, the session equipment may not be available.
What do I do if I would like to change a session after I have already registered?
Sorry, we do not accept session changes. You are welcome to attend sessions on-site on a stand-by basis.
What do I do if I registered and now I am unable to attend the conference for unforeseen reasons?
Can-Fit-Pro understands circumstances arise which results in you not being able to attend the conference. The cancellation policy states all cancellations must be received in writing to Can-Fit-Pro (fax/mail/email) within two weeks prior to the event. Your fee will be refunded less a $25 administrative fee (plus applicable taxes). No refunds or credit given for no-shows, partially-used registrations, on-site registrations, or memberships included in the non-member rate.
Can I attend the conference one day, and then let my friend attend the next day?
No! Registrations are on a delegate-by-delegate basis, meaning they cannot be shared or transferred. If you can only attend the conference for one day, you are required to pay for the full conference.
I live out of town- is there a special rate for delegates at a nearby hotel?
In most cities, hotel space has been booked for Can-Fit-Pro conference delegates. Please see the conference details for more information on rates and location.
What do I do when I get on-site?
When you arrive at the conference venue, please visit the registration desk to pick up your delegate kit. You must pick up your delegate kit prior to attending sessions. Your name tag and wristband will be given to you upon arrival at the registration desk which is required to be admitted into sessions.
Are there handouts available for the sessions I am attending?
Yes! Handouts are available online one week prior and 30 days after the event. Please note, handouts are subject to availability based on whether the presenter has submitted them or not. You will receive an email from Can-Fit-Pro outlining the details to obtain the handouts prior to the conference. It is your responsibility to print and bring the handouts with you to the conference.
What does BYOM mean?
BYOM simply means, Bring Your Own Mat. If you are attending any yoga or pilates sessions, or any sessions which include the BYOM symbol within the description, please ensure you bring a mat with you. Mats are not available on-site.
